- In education project management, partnered with stakeholders in mental health (CALD communities) and in youth suicide prevention; with local visual artists and with First Nations people.
- Have a Bachelor of Teaching (Monash), a Masters of Education (Monash) and a Dip. Professional Writing & Editing (Chisholm), and a CELTA to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) (International House, Barcelona).

- Before teaching, trained as a chef and won a bronze medal award at International Salon Culinaire. Still love cooking. Did I say I had many interests?
